The week of festivities began Sunday evening, Sept. 15, with the coronation program. From among the 10 senior candidates, Ellaree Anderson was selected Queen, and Dylan Walz was selected King. Congratulations to all -participants!
A popular part of Homecoming Week is the dress-up days, with a different theme each day. This year it was Class Color Monday, Picture Day Tuesday, USA Day Wednesday, Tropical Thursday, and Extreme Eagle Spirit Friday.
There were various lunchtime activities as well, all with the Homecoming King and Queen reigning over them.
Powder Puff football was Tuesday evening on the football field. (This was after our press time, so photos and results were not yet available for this week.)
The Homecoming volleyball game will be Thursday at 7 p.m. versus Kimball.
The Homecoming Parade will begin at 2:35 p.m. Friday, between the high school and elementary school.
Friday evening at 7 p.m. the Eagles football team takes to the field against Paynesville.
Happy and safe Home-coming Week to all!
