At 10:51 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019, the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a house fire in the 56400 block of 385th Street, in Manannah Township. Meeker County Deputies, Eden Valley Fire Department, and Paynesville Fire Department responded.
Emergency responders arrived to find the house fully engulfed in flames. The owner of the house is Merle Miller, 48. The flames were extinguished and the house was deemed a total loss. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
