An information meeting and sign-up for K-fourth grade morning basketball, and fourth-sixth grade girls’ and boys’ traveling basketball league will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, in the Leo J. Wirth Gymnasium. Parents or guardians of children interested in participating in one of these programs must attend the meeting. Varsity coaches will be present to address the goals of their basketball programs. In addition, members of the Kimball Sports Booster Club will discuss how parents or guardians can get involved with coaching, assistance with running tournaments, help with various fundraisers throughout the year, and attend monthly meetings. The information meeting will begin at 7 p.m., with sign-up to follow. The cost for participating in the K-fourth grade Saturday morning program is $10. Cost for participating in the traveling league is $20. Paying $20 will cover the cost of a fourth grader’s participation in the Saturday morning program as well as the traveling league.
