The Kimball boys 12U baseball team completed their season Sunday, July 18, in the Crow River baseball league.
The season was off to a slow start, with a record of 1-7-1 before winning our last three games of the season. The boys greatly improved in fielding, pitching, and base running.
We were placed in the bronze bracket for the year-end Crow River tournament that took place July 17 and 18.
Kimball’s first game was against Hutchinson Gold with a 15-2 win. The second game was against Dassel Cokato White, with Kimball taking the 11-3 win.
Kimball ended up playing Dassel Cokato White for the championship game, with Kimball winning and taking first place in the Bronze Division, with a final score of 12-4.
