Kimball Community Education is committed to offering youth and adult enrichment and recreation programs, classes and activities this fall that continue to follow the guidelines set forth by the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in regards to COVID-19. Adult Activities:

TAI CHI CONTINUES … A GENTLE WAY TO FIGHT STRESS

Appropriate for all ages.

This class is an extension of the basic concepts of Tai Chi. Posture, relaxed deep breathing, flowing movement and a basic understanding of mind-body connection will be discussed. Contact the Community Ed. office for details.

YOGA FOR ADULTS

Ages 16+

We are currently looking for a licensed Yoga instructor to teach classes in Kimball. Please contact the Community Ed. office for more information.

DRIVER’S EDUCATION for TEENS

Minimum 14.5 years of age.

Date: Oct. 26-30, Nov. 2-6 (3:15-6:15 p.m.)

Location: Kimball High School

Cost: $380 (Includes 30 hours of classroom instruction, MN Driver’s Manual and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction.)

DEFENSIVE DRIVING ONLINE CLASSES THROUGH AARP

ADULT BASIC EDUCATION

Youth Activities

Youth Basketball (Grades 3-6)

Kimball Cubs Club Program (School Age Child Care)

The Cubs Club program provides care for children ages 3 through 5th grade, before and after school, on distance learning and non-school days, and during the summer months.

Kimball Early Childhood & Family Education (ECFE)

ECFE classes will begin the week after MEA Break Wednesday, Oct. 21, and Thursday, Oct. 22.

Classes for our early learners and parents will be held Wednesday mornings from 9-
10:30 a.m. (Play With Me Class:
6 weeks-5 years old) and Thursday evenings from 6-7 p.m. (Incredible Years Class: Ages 0-2) in the -Kimball Elementary School.
