The KES annual food drive for the Kimball Area Food Shelf at St. Anne’s was a huge success. KES Student Government members collected food, miscellaneous toiletries, and cleaning supplies from the elementary students and staff for two weeks. Kimball Elementary students and staff donated more than 1,800 items – 1,780 lbs. Items were collected at the school by student government members, and then delivered to St. Anne’s with the help of several parents and teachers.
“Thank you” to all students, families, and staff who helped make this year’s food drive a huge success.
Mr. Timmerman has graciously agreed to dress in princess attire for an entire day as a reward for reaching the school-wide goal. There will be an assembly to celebrate the school’s success in the near future.
