NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

KIMBALL CITY COUNCIL

Notice is hereby given that the Kimball City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, at the Kimball City Hall, 1 Main St. N., to consider the following:

A request by Nick and Alyshea Nelson for a variance for the following: The reason we are asking for a variance is because the size of our garage is larger than the city ordinance limit of 1,280 sq. ft. The size we are asking is 32×54 ft. or 1,728 sq. ft. The height of the garage will have a peak of 17.8 ft. and the ceiling ht. will be 12 ft. The garage will be slightly taller than our house but not noticeable. We are changing the direction of the front and are asking for it to be 27 ft. from city road instead of 30 ft. required. This is so it lines up with neighbor’s garage front and looks appealing in the neighborhood.

The East 76.00 feet of Lot 6 of PATTEN’S FIRST ADDITION TO KIMBALL PRAIRIE

according to the plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the County Recorder in and

for Stearns County, Minnesota, EXCEPT the North 18.00 feet thereof.

Containing 0.26 Acres, more or less.

Subject to easements of record.

Subject to any and all enforceable restrictive covenants.
