The Kimball Area wrestling comrades displayed toughness and grit at the Section 4A team tournament last Friday, Feb. 15, in Howard Lake. Number 3-seed Kimball defeated Sibley East, 54-15, in the quarterfinals; they bettered Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted,
37-33, in the semis (covered in separate article) then took on Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City in the Section 4A championship match and lost to the top-seeded Falcons, 56-10. On behalf of Kimball Head Varsity Coach David Joseph, the Cubs extend to their most formidable Section 4A foe, the best of luck in the upcoming state tournament.
