Marie Loch of Kimball died Monday, Oct. 1, 2007, at the St. Cloud Hospital. She was 85. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Kimball with Fr. Jerry Nordick officiating. Burial will be in St. Anne’s Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today (Thursday) at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Kimball and after 9 a.m. Friday at the church in Kimball. There will be a prayer service at 7 tonight (Thursday) at the funeral home. Marie Anna Loch was born Sept. 1, 1922, in Eden Valley to William “Roy” and Anna (Lehnen) Driver. She married Daniel J. Loch June 2, 1943, in St. Cloud and he preceded her in death Oct. 23, 1976. Together the couple farmed in Maine Prairie Township, Stearns County. Marie was a homemaker and member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church, American Legion Post #261 Auxiliary and Royal Neighbors of America. She enjoyed reading, card playing, her boys and her grandchildren. Marie was preceded in death by her husband; son Kenneth; brother Melvin Driver; and sister Lucille Mackedanz. Marie is survived by sons John “Jack” (and Carol) of St. Cloud, Michael (and Sherry) of Kimball, Stephen (and Pamela) of St. Augusta, Gregory (and friend Joni) of Luxemburg; sisters Elaine Weber of Paynesville, Clara (and Norbert) Schueller of Richmond, Marcella (and Benny) Lang of Richmond; grandchildren Becky (and Jay), James (and Kim), Chad (and Jeanne), Kyle (and Talia), Dan (and Stephanie), Nick, Kelly and Heidi; and great-grandchildren Krista, Matthew, Maleah, Gavin, Garrett, Kayla and Savannah. Pallbearers will be Kyle, Dan, Nick, Chad and James Loch and Jay Hilley. Music will be provided by St. Anne’s Choir, with organist Frosty Schiefelbein.
