Michael “Mike” Gannon, from Petaluma, Calif., died January 3, 2026. He was 77 years old.
He was born June 3, 1948 in Oakes, N.D., to Robert and Mary Gannon and moved to Kimball with family in 1951. He was a 1966 graduate of Kimball High School and attended Fergus Falls Junior College. He was married to Lolli Selinger in Little Falls, Minn., on June 12, 1969.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Gannon, and brother, John, and sister-in-law, Bonnie. He is survived by wife, Lolli, daughter, Melissa, son-in-law, Chris Kirby, and son, Brian, and his wife Shelby. He is also survived by four grandsons and brothers, Patrick, and wife, Barbara, of Harvey, N.D., and Paul and his wife, Trish, of St. Joseph, Minn.
He was also a business partner with John and Paul at Gannon Elevator in Kimball for several years.
