O’Linda Hoffman of Foley and formerly of Sauk Rapids died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2006, at her home. She was 86. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Foley with Rev. Michael Dagel officiating. Burial will be at Benton Cemetery, Sauk Rapids. Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday at Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids and one hour prior to the ser- vices Thursday at the church in Foley. St. Paul’s Lutheran prayers will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. O’Linda was born May 10, 1920, in South Side Township (rural Wright County) to Louis and Otillie (Schmidt) Muehring. She married Walter Brunko on May 4, 1944, at Concordia Lutheran Church in Fairhaven. Walter died Sept. 26, 1944. O’Linda then married Rynold Hoffman on Feb. 19, 1950, at Concordia Lutheran Church in Fairhaven. Rynold died May 27, 1987. She lived in Foley from 1963-1970, Sauk Rapids from 1970-1983, Richmond from 1983-1987, Sauk Rapids from 1987-1989, and Foley since 1989. O’Linda was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Foley. O’Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Walter Brunko and Rynold Hoffman; son, Bryan; and great-grandson, Joshua. Survivors include her daughter and sons, Phyllis Johnson of Roseville, Kevin (and Kathy) of Foley, Royce (and Sharon) of Sartell, and Randy (and Ginger) of Richmond; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Hoffman of Spicer; brothers and sisters, Harlan (Johanna) Muehring of Tempe, Ariz., Vernis (and Alvin) Fischer of Kimball, Vernone Wylie of New Ulm, Arnita (Curtis) Rieger of Richfield, and Dennis (Patricia) Muehring of St. Cloud; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
