Despite frigid temperatures The Powder Ridge Development Race Team hosted the third race of the season for the Minnesota Ski Race League (MSRL) Slalom and Giant Slalom last Saturday. Two teams competed in Saturday’s race including Wild Mountain and Powder Ridge. In frigid temperatures Powder Ridge Race Crews, Parents and Coaches helped to run an efficient race with slalom courses in the morning and giant slalom in the afternoon, and ending with an awards ceremony. The cold weather was a concern for us to run the race, so we took some extra precautions to assure that we had plans to keep people warm. We saw our racers perform despite the cold, dressing to stay safe with lots of individual successes.
