It’s been nearly a month since the Minnesota Newspaper Association convention, and I haven’t had time to “show off” our two awards. We’ll get to it, soon.
As some may know, my husband (and photographer of basketball games, ice fishing contests, and more) had to return to his home country after the sudden death of his mother. As much of an ordeal as that trip was, he then had a heart attack and emergency open-heart surgery. He will be there several weeks more.
The overachiever in me is screaming to do more and more in each week’s Tri-County News. But practicality has won out. There will be time to catch up on some, and others just aren’t that critical.
