Schiefelbein to perform in “Memories”

The St. Cloud Figure Skating Club presents its “Memories on Ice” skating show at 1:30 and 7 p.m. this Saturday, April 17, and at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 18, at the St. Cloud Municipal Athletic Complex (MAC), 5001 8th St. No. in St. Cloud. The MAC is one block west of the Veteran’s Hospital. The on-ice spectacular is the club’s 31st annual skating show and is sanctioned by the United States Figure Skating Association. The event will feature more than 120 skaters performing in colorful costumes. Guest skater Evan Lysacek will be featured at the show again this year after wowing the crowd at last year’s event. This year Lysacek finished second at the 2004 World Junior Championships, third at the 2004 Four Continents Championships, and fifth at the 2004 State Farm U.S. Championships. Sonny Schiefelbein of Kimball will perform in three group routines; “Born to be Wild,” “Time of My Life” and “Boy Girl.” Sonny is the daughter of Cathy and Frank Schiefelbein of Kimball. Admission to the show is $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 5-18. Children 4 and under are admitted free. Advance tickets are available from Coborn’s Superstore, Byerly’s and Cash Wise in St. Cloud. Tickets are also available at the door. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy this entertaining event.
