Stearns County Business and Non-Profit Relief Grant Program

·

The Stearns County Board of Commissioners approved the Stearns County Business and Non-Profit Relief Grant Program.

Businesses and non-profits in Stearns County continue to see the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the State and County want to help. Stearns County will receive approximately $3 million to grant to businesses and non-profits.

Funds awarded shall be used for operating expenses incurred during the shutdown, such as expenses for rent, mortgage, utilities, payments to suppliers, and other similar costs that occur in the regular course of business. The county may require business owners to provide proof that grant funds were used only for eligible expenses.

The application period will open Monday, Jan. 11 and will remain open until all funds are distributed.
