The Falu Miner Chords, a barbershop chorus from Falun, Sweden, will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, July 9, at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cokato. The Falu Miner Chords are in the United States to compete in the International Chorus Competition and perform in the World Harmony Jamboree in Louisville, Ky. The group is visiting Minnesota to see some of the state’s Swedish enclaves, like Cokato. The event is free and open to the public. A free-will donation will be taken during the performance to help defray the group’s expenses.
