The clubs and the membership meeting dates are:
Manannah Sno-Blazers, Monday, Nov. 17, 8 p.m. at Manannah Township Hall
Darwin Drifters, Friday, Nov. 21,
6 p.m. Dinner served at Darwin Rod & Gun Club
SnoHaven Drift Demons out of Annandale/South Haven. See Facebook page for dates.
Central Lakes Snowmobile Club. See Facebook page for dates.
All of these clubs have a Facebook page.
The public needs to know that the snowmobile trails are all maintained by volunteers who belong to these clubs. Yes, the DNR pays for the gas to run the groomers, and pays for the signs that are put up, but if the volunteers quit working, the trails will disappear.
