Sunshine Storytime ?Äì June 21
Children ages 3 to 8 are invited to the Annandale Public Library for Sunshine Storytime 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, June 21. Come to storytime to experience stories, songs, and a fun craft. Attendance is limited and preregistration is required, but if space is available, walk-ins are welcome. This storytime is sponsored by the Annandale Area Friends of the Library.
An overview of meditation and mindfulness ?Äì June 22
People of all ages are invited to the Annandale Public Library for an overview of meditation and mindfulness 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 22. Certified yoga instructor and trained meditation coach Elizabeth Cabalka will present instruction designed to provide an understanding of, and experience with, various forms of meditation and mindfulness. No experience required.
Kid Power With Rachael ?Äì June 27
Entertainer Rachael Kroog will bring her Kid Power show for children ages 3 to 12 to the Annandale Public Library 2:30 to 3:15 p.m. Monday, June 27. It?Äôs an interactive, fun-filled show that includes music, puppets, comedy and juggling. Rachael began her professional entertainment career at Walt Disney World?Äôs Magic Kingdom. Since then she has performed at more than 1,500 elementary schools, churches, libraries and special events across the country. Her appearance is funded in part by Minnesota?Äôs Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.
Yu-Gi-Oh ?Äì June 29
Teens ages 13 to 17 are invited to enjoy an afternoon playing Yu-Gi-Oh at the Annandale Public Library 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, An experienced player will be available to help you learn this fun card game and prepare you for a Fall Yu-Gi-Oh tournament. Bring your decks. All playing cards must follow current ban list. The attendance limit is 12. Call to register or walk-in and join the fun.
Annandale Area Friends of the Library Book Sale ?Äì July 2
The Annandale Area Friends of the Library Book Sale will take place at the Annandale Public Library 8 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday, July 2. A wide variety of books, CDs and movies will be priced to sell. All proceeds go to the Annandale Area Friends of the Library to benefit the Annandale Public Library and programs. For more information, contact the Annandale library at (320) 274-8448.
