A request has been made from St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church to have a variance hearing concerning the top width of the road approach onto 135th Avenue. Located in Sec. 2, Greely Edition, Lot 001, Block 003. Maine Prairie Township Ordinance #2, Sec. 4.13.1 allows for a 14-foot width in R1 & R5 zoning district; the church is requesting a 32-foot wide approach. This hearing will take place at their monthly meeting on Aug. 12, 7:30 p.m. at the Kimball Area Fire and Rescue Hall, 300 N. Elm St., Kimball.
