Watkins blood drive, Sept. 20

·

The American Red Cross currently has a critical need for blood. You can help by donating at the blood drive from 1-7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 20, at the St. Anthony Parish Center in Watkins.

Schedule your appointment at 1-800-RedCross (1-800-733-2767) or visit http://redcrossblood.org or use the Blood Donor App.

The Red Cross follows the highest standards of safety and infection control. All individuals at the blood drive must wear a mask regardless of their vaccination status. Donors may still donate after receiving the COVID-19 vaccination, but it is important to know the manufacturer of your vaccine.

On the day of the drive, a Rapid Pass, which allows donors to complete pre-donation reading and answering health questions on their own personal computers or devices, can be obtained. If you do not have a Rapid Pass, this information will be obtained at the drive. Also bring a photo ID or your donor’s card along.

If you cannot keep your scheduled appointment, please cancel it as soon as possible. At the last drive there was a waiting list of individuals who were willing to come last minute to fill those time slots.

Please take the time to save lives by donating blood.
