Nine teachers from Kimball and Eden Valley-Watkins public schools were nominated by former students to be included in the eighth annual edition of “Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers(R).” Students currently listed in the Who’s Who high school students, sports edition and national dean’s list are asked to nominate the one teacher from their entire academic experience who made a difference in their lives by helping to shape their values, inspire interest in a subject area and challenge them to strive for excellence. Students also discuss their teachers’ enthusiasm and knowledge about a subject demonstrated in the classroom. This year, students nominated Howard Bahn, Shawn Meyer, Amy Notch, Gary Riess and David Traurig from Kimball Area High School; Mary Bernardy, Paulette Hauge and Deborah Schmidt from Kimball Elementary School, and Rebecca Haag from Eden Valley-Watkins High School.
