Grasshoppers, crickets, butterflies, dragonflies, lady bugs and stag beetles were some of the top guesses of the roll call question ?Äì What is the favorite insect of leader Dave Heid? This put a buzz in everyone?Äôs mind at the Kimball Kruisers 4-H Club meeting Sunday, March 1. Clearly our little insects were hungry with all the fruit orders we got. Thank you for so many who bought fruit. Cathy Olson gave a survey to do for grants that she is applying for. Shooting Sports is right on target and is going well. Please contact John Gohmann if you are interested in this project area.
The Kimball Kruisers are busy getting ready for Share-the-Fun competition Sunday, March 22, in Litchfield at the Family Service Building. Our Star Wars theme has everyone excited. We will also have many talented acts in the Performing Arts area. At our meeting we also discussed having a table at the Kimball Business Expo. At the Expo we will have our SOAR group asking questions on food waste and we will have our club cookbooks for sale. Mark your calendars for Sunday,
April 12, for the next meeting because of Easter.
Respectfully Submitted,
