Eden Valley-Watkins knowledge bowlers came home with medals around their necks from the Feb. 8 conference meet in Litchfield.
EV-W had four teams compete in the meet which was hosted by Litchfield and held at Cornerstone Church. Teams from six schools: EV-W, Kimball, Holdingford, Melrose, Mayer-Lutheran, and Litchfield, participated in the meet.
The EV-W Varsity I team of Reese Jansen, Brad Dockendorf, George Lemke and Maggie Schmaltz earned third-place
medals in the meet. The Junior Varsity A team of Loreen Witte, Kennedy Kleist, Johanna Ruhland, Ellie Schmaltz and Cory Zimmerman captured second place in their division.
Heading into the last conference meet of the year at Holdingford Feb. 22, the Varsity I team and the Junior Varsity A team are both in contention for trophies.
