Patrick “Pat” Knaus died Thursday, May 4, 2023, at his home in Sun City West, Ariz. He was 72. 
A private service will be held at a later date.
Patrick L. Knaus was born July 18, 1950, in St. Cloud to Carlyle and Lavern Knaus. He graduated Kimball High School in 1968 and worked in the Knaus family business. He managed the Knaus Sausage House in Maple Lake from 1974 until 1990. He moved to Minneapolis in 1991 where he managed a high-rise and held other jobs. In 2013, he bought his home in Sun City West, Ariz., and worked as a patient transporter. He enjoyed helping patients and meeting new friends, playing cards, and his two dogs.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers-in-law.
He is survived by his siblings Ron (and Diane), Diane, Ken (and Mary), Suzette (and Rich), Doug (and Vicki), Kurt (and Jody); and many nieces and nephews.
